DeLorme Downloads in Zipped Format
Many companies and Internet Service Providers restrict a user's ability to download executable files. If you are having difficulty downloading any update, please use these additional instructions. If you do not have a decompression utility you can use the following link to Winzip®
- Click Download Zipped File on the update you wish to download. The File Download dialog box displays.
- In the File Download dialog box, select to save the program to disk and click OK.
- Select a location on your computer where you want to save the file. Do not change the file name.
TIP: You may want to save the file to the desktop as it may be easier to find again.
- Click Save. The File Download dialog box displays as the file is being downloaded, which then indicates when the download is complete.
- Close your Internet browser and exit any other programs that are currently running, especially any DeLorme programs.
- Locate the saved file and double-click it. Save the contents of the Zipped file to the desktop.
- Locate the extracted file and double-click it. The installation begins and the Update dialog box displays.
- Click Next to install the updated components.
- Click Finish to complete the installation of the update on your computer.
